I’m a Real-Time Technical Artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. Since 2008, I have worked on a variety of creative projects, ranging from video productions through to animation and motion graphics. From 2014 onwards, my focus and interests shifted towards real-time 3D content creation and rendering using Unreal Engine, with a strong emphasis on the technical side of the production process, predominantly for VR and desktop-based interactive experiences in the arch viz field.
Over the last 5 years, I’ve also been using Unity for the production of real-time projects centered around AR applications and mobile devices. The years of experience using both Engines has strengthened my understanding of the underlying concepts of real-time rendering technologies. On a daily basis, this greatly enhances my productivity and problem solving skills that are invaluable throughout this constantly evolving field.
